Basalt

Basalt is a common, dense, and fine-grained igneous rock, typically black in color, with a Mohs hardness of 5 to 7. It is one of the main rocks that make up the oceanic crust and volcanic regions. Porous basalt, also known as pumice, has many pores and a hard texture. When mixed into concrete, it reduces the weight of the concrete, making it not only strong and durable but also providing sound and heat insulation. It is an excellent aggregate for lightweight concrete in high-rise buildings. Due to its high strength and durability, it is frequently used in construction materials and geological research.

The Basalt crushing process is divided into three stages

Primary crushing stage

using jaw crusher，Large pieces of basalt are fed through a vibrating feeder and then crushed to a size suitable for the next stage of processing.

Secondary crushing stage
